Soundproofing
This procedure, required the removal of rear seats, and side interior
panels.
I then used "Stinger Roadkill Original" sound damping,
to line the rear quarter panels, the boot floor and rear arches.
Next to be sound deadened will be the front floor pans and inside
the front doors.
For that I am using PRO sounds dead material, as it is thinner
and has less weight. Pic's to follow.

Measurements were made, arguments were had, but finally I settled
on a design with "MB Auto Acoustics"
The boxes had to be re-designed from the manufacturers dimensions
to fit into the punto boot along with the 2 Kenwood Amplifiers,
But to still keep the airflow the same. We decided to go for the
ported box design. So I ordered some nice Aluminum finished ports,
and we got to work.

Final Designs
Coming along nicely
Still a long way to go!
The
next step was to get a raised floor assembled, with the amplifiers
underneath a perspex cover...

Now that is tight!!!
Positioning

Laying
Phono cables
We had to locate the subs on the rear of the box as the original
designs didn't leave enough room for the subs, once the bread
tray was in place
Then we chopped a hole in the front for the window, which the
cap is to be located behind
Ports are still to be located in the front
Trying the subs & multichanger
